Definition: "A clearinghouse aims to collect valuable information in a specific field and to make that information available to people and groups working in that field. As a central access point, a clearinghouse serves the needs of users of a specific body of knowledge." (Hugo, 2004)
Working towards a healthier future for all West Australians
Ausinet informs, educates and promotes good practice in a range of sectors and the community about mental health promotion, prevention, early intervention and suicide prevention across the lifespan.

Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies provides information products and services for those working in the youth field and for anyone with an interest in youth. This includes practitioners in areas such as health and education, researchers, policy-makers, youth workers and youth service providers, as well as students and parents.

Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training provides up to date and comprehensive information about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies, accommodations and support services for people with disabilities in post secondary education and training.

Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse is a national resource on issues of domestic violence and family violence.

Australian Indigenous Health disseminates knowledge and information on health issues for Aboriginal and Torres Strait islanders, much of which is generated by their research (including knowledge translation).

The DRUG database of the ADCA National Resource Centre contains approximately 58,000 references to books, videos, journal articles, conference papers, research reports and unpublished materials on the health, social and economic aspects of alcohol and other drug use.

DrugInfo Clearinghouse is a service provided by the Australian Drug Foundation with the goal of informing and supporting drug prevention in Victoria. As a clearinghouse, DrugInfo collects, interprets and disseminates information on drug prevention

National Child Protection Clearing House was established to inform policy, practice and research into child abuse prevention.

Participate In Health provides health information for consumers.

Primary Mental Health Care Australian Resource Centre is a website of the Department of General Practice at Flinders University and provides an Information service in Primary Mental Health Care for General Practitioners and the Divisions of General Practice.

Register of Australian Drug and Alcohol Research: RADAR, a project of the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia, aims to promote awareness of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs research in Australia.

Rural and Remote Allied Health Clearing House lists published and unpublished literature and reports of relevance to rural and remote allied workforce and service provision issues.

Stronger Families Learning Exchange aims to contribute to the formation of an evidence base from which to inform policy, practice and research in strengthening families and communities. From the Australian Government.

Women's Health Information Clearinghouse of women's health information is an information hub that facilitates a two-way exchange of health information. The Clearinghouse collects English language information, literature and resources relating to women's health and acts as an interchange point for knowledge, research and initiatives in women's health.
